I was worried the pineapple would be too close to Aventus but it is no (I already own too many colognes with that DNA). "This is a modern throwback done right. It immediately gives that early 2000’s vibe—think Nautica Voyage meets Curve—but upgraded with smoother blending and a more refined backbone. The opening is bright and energetic with citrus and a salty marine accord that feels fresh without going overly “clean” or synthetic. It stays crisp and uplifting the entire way through—this thing lives in that fresh zone—but never comes off juvenile or cheap. There are hints of pineapple in the background, but it’s not a dominant note. It just pops in and out enough to add a subtle sweetness and keep things interesting without turning tropical or syrupy. As it develops, you get a soft aromatic lift with lavender and light florals that keep it airy, while the base brings in sandalwood, amber, and musk to give it just enough warmth and structure. It never gets heavy—it just smooths everything out and keeps it wearable. Well done Quicksilver & Michael Malul!"
