Bought this as an alternative to Red Wing. My husband loves how light weight the shoe is. He is on his feet a lot and needed a shoe that was comfortable, but wanted something more unique than a black shoe. Also the fit was very good. He said there was a few days of "break in", but said it wasn't anything dramatic.
I can't comment on the durability of the boot yet, but so far so good. Would love to see it in more colors / styles

These boots are as the description entails. They are rugged enough to handle a solid day trip in comfort, however they do not look as though you are wearing a pair of hiking or work boots so they can be worn in many other contexts. Very good if your job or lifestyle demands some outdoor or hands on work as well as some more domesticated endeavors. My last pair of boots were clarks desert boots and they are comparable in styling however these boots are much sturdier and can be worn for longer. While I wouldn't wear them with a suit, you can get away with wearing these in pretty much any other situation without looking like an idiot, so long as you wipe all the mud off of them.
