I currently own approximately 8-10 pairs of Quiksilver board shorts as they are consistently the best performing, best fitting, and most stylish board shorts in the market year over year for the past 35+ years. 32 waist is my size. For whatever reason 32 waist in this model runs really snug around the waist. I would recommend ordering one size up in this model unless you are looking for the muffin top fit.
