I bought this jacket in brown, size small. I'm usually an XS (tops)/25W (jeans)/dress size:2. This jacket fits true to size: as I wanted, the Small is slightly big on me, while not being too big. I'm glad this isn't cropped: keeps my bottom warm enough! I like wearing a scarf with this because there's no hood and a fairly wide open collar. This is a great coat for early spring in NY, when it's still a bit wintery and too cold yet to bring out my cropped leather jacket. It looks cute with the zipper undone, with just the button. Overall, it's worth the sale price because it's versatile and goes with everything. My only complaints are that the twill fabric is a bit cheap feeling and looking and the zippers too flimsy. I always fear breaking or snagging one of the zippers. But so far, for a month they've been fine and it's a definitely plus in my book that this jacket has passed the washer/dryer test. It's pretty nice to know that if I get something on the jacket, I can launder it myself. After washing it, the fleece inside refluffed up nicely too! 4/5 stars.

My family says it's cute, but I think the collar's just big and floppy enough to look cheap, even though it does seem really well constructed. The zipper is a pain to get up and down since the lining is too close to the teeth - which is why I haven't even dared to zip the sleeves off. The bulk of the zipper under my arms is something I found really uncomfortable as well.
The other review about having something to tack the collar up higher for cold weather is a good idea, as it's a pretty wide open neckline.
Sorry I'll have to pay the return shipping from Canada, I need a good jacket!!

The main motivator to buy this jacket was going to a wintery place for the holidays. The lining inside is so nice and warm and I loved the overall simple style of the jacket. Overall - solid 3.5 stars. After my few wintery days though I found a few things that need improvement.
-immediately (while I was trying it on in the store actually) I noticed the lining was so long, it would catch on the zipper and would be impossible to take off! I ended up trimming the liner near the zipper's edge super short.
-there wasn't any liner inside the pockets, where I feel your hands coule really use it
-the zippers on the pockets are actually quite useful but the zipper is so rough on your hands as the pocket's are super large. I think a less abrasive zipper could have been used
-there should be a button on the top so that the jacket's collar can be folded over the chest and secured for maximum warmth.
