I'm a petite gal (5 feet, 100 pounds, 32D bra size) so I ordered the xs. The material is not stretchy and, as the picture showed, the fit is big around the bust. I shrank the dress in the dryer, which helped, but I still had to get the straps taken in a bit and the hem shortened (like all my long dresses\skirts, given my size). Since the dress was on sale, I didn't mind paying for the alterations. I love the color and the racer back. I think I'll get many uses for this garment during the upcoming summer.

The thing that got me about this dress was the fabric. I loved the pattern and how it was aloha print, but was distinctive. I like the muted colors and the easy fit to it. The best part was the waist that is elastic and fits snuggly without causing discomfort. Works well for both formal and casual occasions. Will wear it often.

I loved the print and could not wait to get it. I thought it would be a perfect beach dress. Unfortunately the fabric was like a very cheap sheet that was stiff and did not move or stretch. I was hoping it would be a stretchier material that would flow easily and be comfortable. It was very uncomfortable. I washed it hoping it would soften up but it just wrinkled beyond wearing and shrank. (On cold) i just wish i had sent it back immediately instead of washing. It is a beautiful print though!!!

I ended up returning this one. Although I loved the fabric print and style, it was a little too big in the upper part and a little too short (I am 5'10"). It more my body type that was the problem here. Average height girls would likely be great in this dress. Perhaps order down a size (I got a M, and I often wear a M or S, size 6).
