This is a great looking and well built hat. I was really looking forward to it as I just gave my favorite Waterman cap to a fellow hiker on the trail.
I have a man's large head, but not so large as to have trouble buying. The Waterman line is almost always sized appropriately, but this hat is more sized for a woman or teen. It is adjustable, but not adjustable within the normal size range for American Men's heads.
You can always return online or to a Quiksilver store. If you are a Men's small, or a woman this might be a great cap for you.
