I wore these amphibians for 10 straight days while surfing in Costa Rica as I wanted to pack really light and get the most out of one set of shorts that worked well on land and in the water. These were awesome and I intend to get more colors. Love em.

I tried to buy these on Go surf day with the 25percent off board shorts coupon and was denied, then I called and spoke to a salesperson at quicksilver, and they put a request in for me for the discount and I bought them at full retail. 2 days later the request was denied. So I paid full retail for these shorts. I would have appreciated the board short discount, otherwise, I wouldn't have bought them. they are board shorts but quicksilver didn't want to admit they were. They said they were walking shorts and the discount for board shorts does not apply Bummer.

I use these to work in the yard, they get wet when I do sprinkler work. They hold up well, dry fast. I also can use them to go out to dinner and where around town. They look good and feel good!

Nice shorts and true to size. They have a nice breathable feel to them, and can be worn out and about as well. They do come with belt loops, and a supplied custom belt for the shorts would be nice considering the price. A little attention should be given to the fly/zipper area. The fly/zipper area has an underlying fabric underneath along with snaps at that top of the shorts to secure your shorts around your waist. The shorts don't have a zipper or any velcro to additionaly seal the fly area. When you wear them the fly area has a tendancy to pooch out making it appear your zipper is down. If you wear a belt, or don't wear a belt, you have to unsnap and drop your shorts to go to the restroom.

A nice short for your athletic short options. I bought these to basically wear around the pool, and I really like the way they fit. They felt good on. After wearing them I realized you could wear them out and about as well. The shorts are true to size. The shorts come with belt loops, and unfortunately it's hard to find a belt that matches the shorts well if on occasion you would like a belt with them. It would be nice if they came with a small width nylon belt.
