I found these shorts on sale in a surf shop at the beach in Delaware. I tried them on a whim and love them. I guess cut-offs are pretty "out" right now but I had been having a hard time finding rolled-cuff denim shorts that I thought were flattering on me. I couldn't say for sure what is different about these but I REALLY like them. They're so flattering and I think the quality of the denim and the structure of the short is really good too: they hold their shape better than probably any other pair of jean shorts I've ever had.
I would never have bought these shorts if they hadn't been on sale but now I like them so much that I searched them out online and am actually considering pay full price for a second pair. I have lost some weight recently and am hoping to lose a little more - I'd just be sad if these shorts were too big and I couldn't wear them anymore!
The one thing I would mention is about the sizing: usually I think that odd-number sizing should be used to indicate narrowness in the hips, legs, and waist that you usually only find in teenagers. These shorts are labeled a size 7 but I don't think they fit any differently than an 8 would - and, even if they were an 8, I'd still actually think they run a little big. At the point that I bought these, I was between an 8 and a 10 at most of my favorite stores. Now I am a solid 8 at most stores and these shorts are getting too big.

Easy to wear, doesn't ride up the crotch so it's comfortable to wear. The length is modest. I bought a 0 and the fit is perfect. I'm 5'4", 105lbs, usually a size 25 pants. I'm going to order another pair in a size 1 so that I can have really loose fitting ones too.

i love these shorts! They are short enough to be stylish but long enough that you feel covered. I bought a pair in a surf shop and then HAD to find another pair online. They are THAT good. In a women's pair of pants, I am a size 10. These shorts in size 9...fit perfect.
