...All right, it's getting a little ridiculous now.  Our boy  AUSTIN SMITH got his 2nd cover of the year on the April 08 issue of the Transworld Snowboarding Magazine...  Just to recap his accomplishments this year:

Quiksilver’s 19-year old snowboarding phenom, Austin Smith, has just bagged a stack of awards for his amazing work in 2007.  His part in Mack Dawg’s “We’re People Too”   just took video part of the year honors last night at the ultra prestigious Transworld Snowboarding Riders Poll in Las Vegas.  He also won rookie of the year there to go along with recent trophies from Snowboarder (Rookie of the Year) and Future Snowboarding (Breakthrough Rider of the Year). 

The jet setting Smith, who competed in last weekend’s Winter X-Games, will now fly from Vegas to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to take part in the inaugural Natural Selection all mountain freestyle invitational. This one of a kind event features 17 of the world’s best snowboarders, personally invited by Travis Rice, shredding on nothing but all natural terrain.  The mountain has been blanketed with deep piles of fluffy powder and the contest looks to start in epic conditions tomorrow. Quiksilver's Snow Team is blowing up.  Travis Rice's double cork 1080 just won the Icer Air contest in San Francisco and Austin Smith has great interview in the killing it section of the just launched Onboard Digital Snowboarding Magazine.
