Quiksilver

Quiksilver had an epic night at the 2007 Surfer Poll Awards.  Kelly Slater took an astounding 13th win in the Men’s Poll while Roxy’s Sofia Mulanovich finished first again in the Women’s. Meanwhile, Young Guns 3, directed by Jason Muir, and starring Kelly, Dane Reynolds, Julian Wilson, Clay Marzo, Jeremy Flores, Ry Craike and Garrett Parkes won the coveted “Movie of the Year” award and Julian won “Best Male Performance,” marking the second year in a row that Quiksilver has nabbed both of those prizes.  Roxy’s 15 year-old sensation Carissa Moore also won for Best Female Performance for her YG3 section and placed third in the Women’s Poll.

“Surfer puts on the best night in surfing every year and I’m having so much fun,” said Kelly. “Being on tour never seems to get old.”  18 year-old Julian Wilson, the youngest ever winner of the “Best Male Performance in a Video” was shocked and in awe on stage.  “All of the nominees are so amazing," said Julian. "I can’t believe I won. I was so stoked just be nominated.”  Congratulations to Kelly, Sofia, Julian, Carissa, Dane, Jeremy, Clay, Ry, Garrett, Jason and the whole team responsible for Young Guns 3.
